Air Freight Sales Executive



One of the world's leading LOGISTICS providers with 620 offices in 98 countries has a great OPPORTUNITY both CAREER and FINANCIALLY to join their GLOBAL SALES TEAM in an AIR FREIGHT SPECIALIST role with an operating office in BIRMINGHAM, where team meetings would take placxe. The role will cover the whole of the EAST MIDLANDS area selling WORLDWIDE AIR FREIGHT SERVICES import and export.



This global player is looking for an experienced sales person with a proven track record and a background ideally in AIR FREIGHT SALES, but other areas of industry experience will be considered such as, SEA FREIGHT IMPORTS and EXPORTS, airline, shipping line, trailer freight, International and express parcels and other related logistics industries.



You will be required to have a persuasive, professional personality and the ability to look after clients at corporate events, whilst building long term relationships.



The role will be based from home with an operations office based in BIRMINGHAM. The sales territory covers the whole of the EAST MIDLANDS area incorporating DERBY, NOTTINGHAM, LEICESTER, LINCOLNSHIRE and NORTHAMPTONSHIRE selling WORLDWIDE AIR FREIGHT IMPORT and EXPORT SERVICES with a target of 1250 Shipments by Air. The company are the fastest growing in the freight industry in the uk, have huge opportunities to advance into ROUTE MANAGEMENT, ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT etc, are very agressive in their approach, very successful, financially sound and well known for paying their staff well and looking after them. You will have a sales support team assisting with quotes, supplying leads and making appointments.
